Indo Cine Appreciation Forum என்ற அமைப்பு, சென்னையில் வருடாவருடம சென்னை சர்வதேச திரைப்பட விழாவை நடத்தி வருகிறது. அந்த வரிசையில் இந்தாண்டும் 12-வது சென்னை சர்வதேச திரைப்பட விழாவை வரும் டிசம்பர் 18-ம் தேதி முதல் 25-ம் தேதிவரையிலும் நடத்துகிறது.
சென்னையில் உட்லண்ட்ஸ், உட்லண்ட்ஸ் சிம்பொனி, ஐநாக்ஸில் 2 திரைகள், கேஸினோ, மற்றும் ரஷ்யன் கல்ச்சுரல் சென்டர் ஆகிய இடங்களில் படங்கள் திரையிடப்படவுள்ளன.
தமிழ்ப் படங்களுக்கான போட்டி பிரிவில் ‘என்னதான் பேசுவதோ’, ‘கதை திரைக்கதை வசனம் இயக்கம்’, ‘குற்றம் கடிதல்’, ‘மெட்ராஸ்’, ‘முண்டாசுப்பட்டி’, ‘சதுரங்கவேட்டை’, ‘சலீம்’, ‘சிகரம் தொடு’, ‘பண்ணையாரும் பத்மினியும்’, ‘பூவரசம் பீப்பி’, ‘தெகிடி’, ‘வெண்நிலா வீடு’ ஆகிய 12 தமிழ்ப் படங்கள் திரையிட தேர்வு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளன.
இந்தியன் பனோரமாவில் 17 படங்கள் திரையிடப்படவுள்ளன.
