Kalyani Priyadarshan Leads Potential Studios’ Seventh Production as New Film Begins in Chennai
Potential Studios has officially launched its latest production, marking the company’s seventh venture following six consecutive critically acclaimed and commercially successful films including Maya, Maanagaram, Monster, Taanakkaran, Irugapatru, and Black. The yet-to-be-titled film features nationally acclaimed “Lokah” star Kalyani Priyadarshan in the lead role.
The film also stars Devadarshini and Vinoth Kishan of Naan Mahaan Alla fame, along with a strong supporting cast set to play key roles. Helmed by debutant director Thiraviyam S.N., the project brings together a notable technical team Pravin Bhasker & Sree Kumar have written the screenplay and dialogues alongside with the director, music composed by Justin Prabhakaran and cinematography by Gokul Benoy. Aral R. Thangam serves as the editor, Mayapandi as the production designer, and costumes by Inaz Farhan and Sher Ali.
Produced under the Potential Studios banner by S.R. Prakash Babu, S.R. Prabu, P. Gopinath, and Thangaprabaharan R, the film commenced shooting today in Chennai with a traditional pooja ceremony.
