டிரைபாட் டிராவல் மற்றும் டி ஹெச் எஃப் ஃபிலிம் கார்ப்பொரேஷன் பேனர்களில் ராமு கண்ணன் மற்றும் தேவகி நித்யானந்தம் தயாரிப்பில் ராமு கண்ணன் இயக்கத்தில் உருவாகியுள்ள குறும் படம் ‘ஹோப்’.
படைப்பாக்கத்தில் எந்த சமரசமும் இல்லாமல் ஒரு திரைப்படத்திற்கு உரித்தான பட்ஜெட்டில் உலகத் தரத்தில் உருவாகியுள்ள இந்த ‘ஹோப்’ குறும் படத்தில் ‘நாடோடிகள்’ புகழ் அபிநயா ஆனந்த், சுரேஷ் கண்ணன் மற்றும் ராஜேஸ்வரி முக்கிய வேடங்களில் நடித்துள்ளனர்.
‘ஹோப்’ முதல் பார்வை மற்றும் டிரெய்லரை கடந்த ஞாயிறு (06.09.2026) அன்று காலை இயக்குநர் வெங்கட் பிரபு, இயக்குநர் கார்த்திக் சுப்புராஜ், இயக்குநர்-நடிகர் சசிகுமார், இயக்குநர்-நடிகர் சமுத்திரக்கனி, இயக்குநர் பி.எஸ். வினோத்ராஜ், இயக்குநர் நித்திலன் சாமிநாதன், ஒளிப்பதிவாளர் விஜய் கார்த்திக் கண்ணன், படத்தொகுப்பாளர் பிரவீன் கே.எல்.பிரதீப் ஈ. ராகவ், கமலா திரையரங்க நிர்வாக இயக்குநர் விஷ்ணு கமல் மற்றும் திரைப்பட மக்கள் தொடர்பாளர் நிகில் முருகன் வெளியிட்டனர்.
‘ஹோப்’ படத்திற்கு தமிழில் முதன்முறையாக 2022ல் தேசிய விருது வென்ற “சவுதி வேலக்கா” திரைப்படத்திற்கு இசையமைத்த பிரபல மலையாள இசையமைப்பாளர் பாலி பிரான்சிஸ் இசையமைக்க, கோபி துரைசாமி ஒளிப்பதிவை கையாண்டுள்ளார்.
ஒலி வடிவமைப்பை 2023ல் தேசிய விருது வென்ற சச்சின் சுதாகரன் மற்றும் ஹரிஹரன் எம் ஆகியோரும் ஒலிக்கோர்வையை அரவிந்த் மேனனும் செய்துள்ளனர். படத் தொகுப்பு மற்றும் தயாரிப்பு வடிவமைப்பையும் இயக்குநர் ராமு கண்ணனே கையாண்டுள்ளார்.
‘ஹோப்’ குறித்து பேசிய இயக்குநர் ராமு கண்ணன், “வாழ்க்கையில் முக்கியமான தருணங்களில் நமக்கு உண்டாகும் எதிர்மறை எண்ணங்களை நம்பிக்கையுடன் கையாள்வது எவ்வளவு முக்கியம் என்பதை இந்த படைப்பின் மூலம் வெளிப்படுத்தியுள்ளோம்.
இக்குறும்படத்தை ஒரு முழு நீள திரைப்படமாக உருவாக்கும் பணியல் தற்போது ஈடுபட்டுள்ளோம்.
திரில்லர், நகைச்சுவை, ஆக்ஷன் என இன்னும் மூன்று கதைகளை சேர்த்து ஆந்தாலஜி பாணியில் இதை உருவாக்கவதற்கான பணிகளில் ஈடுபட்டுள்ளோம்.
தலைப்புக்கு ஏற்ற வகையில் அனைத்து கதைகளின் மைய நோக்கமாக நம்பிக்கையே இருக்கும்,” என்றார்.
இந்த 30 நிமிட குறும் படம் ஏற்கனவே சிம்லா மற்றும் கல்கத்தாவில் நடைபெறும் திரைப்பட விழாக்களுக்கு தேர்வாகியுள்ளது கூடுதல் சிறப்பு.
மேலும் வரவிருக்கும் இந்திய மற்றும் சர்வதேச திரைப்பட விழாக்களின் அறிவுப்புகளுக்காக காத்திருப்பதாகவும் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.
இப்படத்தின் முன்னோட்டத்தினை சென்னை கமலா திரையரங்கில் நேற்று (06.09.2026) முதல் அனைத்து திரைப்படங்களின் இடைவெளியிலும் காணலாம்.

The First Look Poster and Trailer were unveiled by leading personalities from the Tamil film industry, including Directors Venkat Prabhu, Karthik Subbaraj, Sasikumar, Samuthirakani, Nithilan Saminathan and Sri Ganesh.

Produced and directed by Ramu Kannan, the film stars Abhinaya, Suresh Kannan and Rajeshwari in key roles.
Produced under the banners of Tripod Travel Productions and DHF Film Corporation, HOPE is a short film produced by Ramu Kannan and Devaki Nithyanandam and directed by Ramu Kannan.
Made with the scale and production values of a feature film, HOPE is a world-class 30-minute short film, created without compromising on its creative vision. The film features Abhinaya Anand, known for Naadodigal, along with Suresh Kannan and Rajeshwari in key roles.
The First Look Poster and Trailer of HOPE were unveiled on Sunday morning, 6 September 2026, by prominent personalities from the film industry, including Director Venkat Prabhu, Director Karthik Subbaraj, Director-Actor Sasikumar, Director-Actor Samuthirakani, Director P.S. Vinothraj, Director Nithilan Saminathan, Cinematographer Vijay Karthik Kannan, Editor Praveen KL, Pradeep E. Ragav, Kamala Cinemas Managing Director Vishnu Kamal, and Film Publicist Nikhil Murukan.
The music for *HOPE* has been composed by renowned Malayalam composer *Palee Francis*, who composed the music for the National Award-winning film *Saudi Vellakka* in 2022. *Gopi Duraisamy* has handled the cinematography.
The sound design has been handled by *Sachin Sudhakaran and Hariharan M*, who won the National Award in 2023. *Aravind Menon* has handled the sound mixing. Editing and production design have also been handled by director *Ramu Kannan*.
Speaking about *HOPE*, director *Ramu Kannan* said:
“Through this film, we wanted to explore how important it is to face the negative thoughts that arise during crucial moments in our lives with hope and confidence.
We are currently working towards developing this short film into a feature-length film. We are planning to expand it into an anthology by adding *three more 30-minute episodes* in the genres of thriller, comedy and action. In keeping with the title, *hope will remain the central theme of all the stories*.”
Adding to its achievements, this *30-minute short film has already been selected for film festivals in Shimla and Kolkata*. The team is also awaiting announcements from several upcoming Indian and international film festivals.
The *Trailer of HOPE* can be watched at *Kamala Cinemas, Chennai*, during the interval of all movie screenings, starting *6 September 2026*.
