விவசாயமும் சமூக நீதி சிந்தனையும் மையமாகக் கொண்டு உருவாகியுள்ள ‘ஏ படம்’ வரும் பிப்ரவரி 27ஆம் தேதி திரையரங்குகளில் வெளியாகிறது. மாங்காடு அம்மன் மூவிஸ் நிறுவனம் தயாரித்துள்ள இப்படத்தை ராஜகணபதி தயாரித்து கதாநாயகனாகவும் நடித்துள்ளார்.
விவசாயப் புரட்சி, கார்ப்பரேட் நிறுவனங்கள் விவசாயிகளை ஏமாற்றும் சூழல்கள் உள்ளிட்ட சமூகச் சிக்கல்களை வலுவாக பதிவு செய்யும் நோக்கில் இப்படம் உருவாகியுள்ளது. சமகால அரசியல் மற்றும் சமூகப் பின்னணியை பிரதிபலிக்கும் வகையில் கதைக்களம் அமைந்துள்ளதாக படக்குழு தெரிவித்துள்ளது.
இப்படத்தை கேஷ்லெஸ் ஷிவாகோ இயக்கியுள்ளார். ஜோஸ் பிராங்கிளின் இசையமைத்துள்ள இப்படத்திற்கு சதீஷ் ஒளிப்பதிவு செய்துள்ளார். கதாநாயகியாக மேகாஸ்ரீ நடித்துள்ள இப்படத்தில் சந்திரபோஸ், மஸ்காரா அஸ்மிதா, சுஷ்மிதா உள்ளிட்டோர் முக்கிய கதாபாத்திரங்களில் நடித்துள்ளனர்.
சென்னை, ஏலகிரி மற்றும் ஏற்காடு உள்ளிட்ட பகுதிகளில் நடைபெற்ற படப்பிடிப்பு நிறைவடைந்துள்ளது.
இந்தப் படம் தணிக்கைச் சான்றிதழ் பெறும் கட்டத்தில் பல சவால்களை எதிர்கொண்டதாக தயாரிப்பாளர் ராஜகணபதி தெரிவித்தார். சுமார் 45க்கும் மேற்பட்ட காட்சிகளில் வெட்டுகள் கோரப்பட்டதாகவும், இதனால் நீண்ட காலமாக சட்ட ரீதியான முயற்சிகள் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டதாகவும் அவர் கூறினார். சுமார் 18 மாதங்களுக்குப் பிறகு தணிக்கைச் சான்றிதழ் கிடைத்ததாகவும், தற்போது படம் திரையரங்குகளில் வெளியாவதற்கு தயாராக உள்ளதாகவும் தெரிவித்தார்.
இப்படத்தில் டாக்டர் வேடத்தில் ராஜகணபதி நடித்துள்ளார். சமூக அவலங்களை அம்பேத்கர் பேசுவது போன்று வெளிப்படுத்தும் காட்சிகளில் நடிப்பது தனக்கு பெருமையும் பொறுப்பும் அளித்ததாக அவர் குறிப்பிட்டார்.

‘A Padam’ to Release on February 27 – A Film Voicing Farmers’ Struggles
The socially driven film A Padam, centered on agriculture and social justice, is set to release in theatres on February 27. Produced by Rajaganapathi under the banner of Maangadu Amman Movies, the film features him in the lead role as well.
The movie strongly highlights themes such as farmers’ struggles and the ways in which corporate entities exploit the agricultural community. According to the makers, the storyline reflects contemporary social and political realities.
The film is directed by Cashless Shivago, with music composed by Jose Franklin and cinematography by Satheesh. Megha Sri plays the female lead, while Chandrabose, Mascara Asmitha, Sushmitha, and others appear in pivotal roles.
The shooting of the film has been completed in Chennai, Yelagiri, and Yercaud.
Speaking about the project, producer-actor Rajaganapathi stated that the film faced significant hurdles during the certification process. Over 45 scenes were reportedly asked to be cut, which led to prolonged legal efforts lasting nearly 18 months before obtaining clearance. He expressed relief that the film is finally ready for theatrical release.
In the film, Rajaganapathi portrays Dr. . He shared that portraying Ambedkar and voicing social injustices through the character was both a matter of pride and responsibility.
The first look of the film was unveiled by Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi leader , which, according to the team, added encouragement and momentum to the project.
The makers have appealed to audiences to watch the film in theatres and extend their support to this socially conscious venture.
